Accounts Payable Associates are responsible for statement reconciliation from multiple vendors on a monthly basis. Requesting and entering all missing invoices timely and accurately. Communicating with vendors about GPM policy and replying to vendor inquiries. They work with the Accounts Payable Manager and assist in month-end closing.


  • Request and review all vendor statements on, at least, a monthly bases. More frequently
    depending on payment terms.
  • Receiving, verifying, processing and entering missing invoice within the GPM guidelines.
  • Maintain accounts payable controls by verifying invoices for proof of delivery and ensuring
    invoices are recorded correctly, scheduling and preparing payment requests.
  • Communicate with vendors to resolving payment discrepancies and ensuring credit and
    payments are applied correctly.
  • Work with Pricebook and category mangers to ensure vendor pricing is correct. Provide
    reporting to help vendors determine where issues are.
  • Guide other departments by interpreting and enforcing accounts payable policy as
    determined by senior management.
  • Special projects as they arise.


  • Accounting/business associates degree preferred
  • 4+ years of Accounts Payable experiences preferable in a in high
    volume fast paced environment.
  • High competency in Microsoft Excel, as well as Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to multi-task and complete projects within specific deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and time management
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
