The Sr Marketing Analyst provides research, analysis and business intelligence to strategic decision makers for business planning, market planning, new business development and corporate strategy planning.
Responsibilities
Use business insights and data driven analysis to provide recommendations and actionable reports
Analyze individual Marketing programs to determine effectiveness and improve future initiatives.
Understand data related questions, from Marketing team members, and be able to translate them into executable inquiries that lead to conducting an actionable analysis.
Improve company performance and profitability working with various departments within the company to help solve business related problems/issues.
Understand and review monthly financial closeout for accuracy (sales, margins, vendor rebates, and other income) to include all cost of sales adjustments.
Work with 3rd party companies to gather and analyze data to measure and track the performance of loyalty marketing programs against established goals and targeted ROI.
Complete ad hoc Marketing analysis and reporting
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Marketing or Business or Related field experience preferred (min 2 years)
Strong numbers aptitude, with the ability to compile and analyze data
Good organization skills; High Level attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
PDI experience (a plus)
Power BI experience (a plus)
Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft office including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint
Advanced Excel knowledge (a plus)
Positive approach and willingness to accept new projects and responsibilities as the department grows
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
