Overview

The Sr Marketing Analyst provides research, analysis and business intelligence to strategic decision makers for business planning, market planning, new business development and corporate strategy planning.

Responsibilities

  • Use business insights and data driven analysis to provide recommendations and actionable reports
  • Analyze individual Marketing programs to determine effectiveness and improve future initiatives.
  • Understand data related questions, from Marketing team members, and be able to translate them into executable inquiries that lead to conducting an actionable analysis.
  • Improve company performance and profitability working with various departments within the company to help solve business related problems/issues.
  • Understand and review monthly financial closeout for accuracy (sales, margins, vendor rebates, and other income) to include all cost of sales adjustments.
  • Work with 3rd party companies to gather and analyze data to measure and track the performance of loyalty marketing programs against established goals and targeted ROI.
  • Complete ad hoc Marketing analysis and reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Marketing or Business or Related field experience preferred (min 2 years)
  • Strong numbers aptitude, with the ability to compile and analyze data
  • Good organization skills; High Level attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
  • PDI experience (a plus)
  • Power BI experience (a plus)
  • Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft office including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint
  • Advanced Excel knowledge (a plus)
  • Positive approach and willingness to accept new projects and responsibilities as the department grows
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
