Conduct comprehensive spend analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Develop and manage RFPs and RFQs to ensure competitive bidding among suppliers.
Survey all departments to develop a standardized list of commonly used items for procurement.
Create and maintain a database of frequently purchased items, in collaboration with IT, for both internal use and public-facing reference.
Collaborate with Regional Service Managers, Marketing, and other departments to define item specifications that prioritize function and total cost of ownership.
Manage landscaping and snow removal service providers, including contract negotiation, invoice review, and emergency response coordination.
Oversee the operation and organization of GPM’s corporate warehouse, including the safe use of a forklift (safety certification required).
Process maintenance and repair invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
Support the upkeep of the HEAT™ database for both personnel assignments and physical assets.
Maintain contractor performance oversight and ensure cost reduction in service-related categories year over year.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred)
Proven background in procurement, sourcing, or contract management
Skills & Tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills—especially in RFP/RFQ development
Strong analytical mindset with financial and sourcing analysis expertise
Familiarity with supply chain operations and contract/legal principles
Project planning and implementation proficiency
Detail-oriented with stellar organizational skills
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook); Access or SQL is a plus
