Overview

Develop dealer operations to include pricing, credit, promotions, Contract renewals, marketing programs, real estate, environmental compliance, fuel haulers, as well as maintaining good communications between the dealer organization, TSC’s, and Empire. Lead, inspire, motivate and direct TM’s in assigned area to achieve company goals

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring volume performance to meet planned budgets
  • Manage expenses within planned budgets
  • Coordinate with construction and maintenance any activities associated with capital improvement programs and/or maintenance issues
  • Promote any marketing programs associated with loyalty programs, Fleet, Mystery Shopper
  • Work with appropriate personnel to ensure all environmental requirements are met at a dealer station level.
  • Work with Dispatch in reviewing haulers and freight bidding process to maximize profitability.
  • Work with Real Estate and Legal Counsel on any and all real estate issues to include sale of property, franchise renewals, underlying lease renewals, etc.
  • Identify opportunities with dealer sites for potential commission agent, company operation, etc.
  • Maintain communication between dealers and Empire, as well as all support functions within the company
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and gross margin goals.
  • Monitor weekly performance of TSC’s based on goals set each quarter. Ensure all TSC’s are meeting requirements of Business Reviews and passing MOC image standards
  • Monitors competitive activity closely and communicates competitive intelligence regularly to the sales team.
  • Seeks continuous improvement of product knowledge; commits to learning about new products and marketing them to their accounts.
  • Maintain solid relationship with assigned MOC brand and have regular calls and meetings to discuss potential deals and how to improve economics for EPP
  • Responds to customer problems and complaints according to established company policy. Follows through to resolution.
  • Maintains accurate and current records of sales performance, planning, account information, business expenditures, etc., as required by established procedures or as requested.
  • Operates within expense budget.
  • Work with specific departments and people on any and all potential projects to enhance the profitability of the organization such as acquisitions, competitive takeovers, etc.
  • Represent company and dealer issues with the Supplier
  • Develop Brand related articles for Dealer Portal
  • Communicate all Brand related information to Dealers and Empire staff
  • Review monthly P & L and volume analysis for locations and present to VP’s.
  • Monitor and approve Credit Card expenses of TM’s assigned to them for accuracy and adhering to company policy
  • Communicate and monitor any accident, incident or event at an EPP supplied or owned location to Division VP and to the appropriate MOC, if it involves media for that company
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned by Division VP or Sr VP of Operations

Qualifications

 

  • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • At least 5 years of managing a team
  • Must reside within Texas
