Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loyalty Promotions Coordinator to support the execution and ongoing maintenance of loyalty promotions across our convenience store locations.

This role plays an important part in helping ensure loyalty offers and promotions are set up accurately and that promotional information is organized, maintained, and communicated effectively. The Loyalty Promotions Coordinator will work extensively with UPC and promotional data, assist with troubleshooting promotion-related issues, and provide day-to-day administrative support to the Loyalty team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, has strong Excel skills, catches the small details others may miss, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment where priorities can change quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Create, organize, and maintain UPC and product categories using Excel spreadsheets.
  • Upload and maintain UPC information within the appropriate promotional categories and systems.
  •  Review promotional and item data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before and after upload.
  • Assist with the setup and ongoing maintenance of loyalty promotions and offers.
  • Help research and resolve promotion-related issues reported by stores or internal partners.
  • Respond to promotional questions and issues through email in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify data discrepancies or promotional setup concerns and escalate issues when additional support is needed.
  • Assist with testing and validating loyalty promotions to help ensure offers are working as intended.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation related to UPCs, promotional categories, and loyalty offers.
  • Work collaboratively with the Loyalty team and other internal business partners to support promotional execution.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for loyalty initiatives, projects, and promotions.
  • Manage multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  •  Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant business, retail, marketing, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to organize and work efficiently with large amounts of data.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally through email.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to research issues through resolution.
  • Ability to learn new programs, systems, and processes quickly.
  • Comfortable performing detailed and repetitive data-related tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Convenience store, retail, loyalty, merchandising, marketing, or promotional experience is a plus.

What Success Looks Like

  • The successful Loyalty Promotions Coordinator is someone who is dependable, accurate, proactive, and organized. They understand that what may appear to be a small data entry or UPC error can impact how a promotion executes at the store level and, ultimately, the customer experience.
  • The ideal candidate enjoys digging into the details, takes ownership of their work, communicates when something does not look right, and can balance routine responsibilities with unexpected promotional issues that arise in a busy convenience retail environment.
  • They don't just enter data. They take pride in making sure the data is right.
