The Region Inventory Manager position is a high visibility leadership position with primary responsibility to oversee the control of maintenance inventory parts and asset management of up to 15 regional warehouses. This position works with the Procurement, Parts Management, Construction, and Accounting departments to create a strategy for storage, movement, control, and reporting of maintenance parts inventory and equipment. The qualifying Candidate will be a self-starter who can collaborate cross functionally with teams to create and implement action plans and procedures to meet company goals and objectives. 


  • Manage inventory control through the regular and ad hoc review and counting of maintenance inventory. Coordinate and manage the cycle and physical count process on a regular and periodic basis and as required to resolve discrepancies.
  • Define purchasing parameters for 120+ field technicians to include purchasing card and direct to vendor (PO) purchases.
  • Evaluate inventory movement to include warehouse cycles for all regional warehouses (15+) to include GPME, GPMI and other entities within the GPM LLC family. Total on hand inventory exceeds $4.5Mil.
  • Work cooperatively with other departments, such as the procurement, parts management, technicians, construction, and accounting to investigate, control, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Provide tracking and reporting for bulk asset/equipment purchases. Ensure assets are charged to correct location with serial #’s maintained for reference.
  • Ensure parts used are being charged to the correct locations and projects.
  • Establish, track, and manage asset warranty program.
  • Ensure key asset details are retrieved and communicated to various departments when locations are opened and closed.
  • Establish and prepare documentation for company processes surrounding the inventory management and asset tracking systems.
  • Manage a dedicated team of individuals assigned to our regional warehouse in Texarkana TX.
  • Make recommendations to leadership about improvements in inventory life cycle.
  • Minimize inventory loss by incorporating best supply chain practices.


  • Associate degree in business or related field, required
  • 5+ years of experience in a region multi unit inventory role
  • CPIM certification, preferred
  • Experience training, coaching, and mentoring
